I'm Abby Rawlinson (MBACP), a British integrative therapist, author, coach, and content creator.
You might know me from my popular Instagram account @therapywithabby, where I share accessible mental health content with a community of over 160k followers, or from my book, "Reclaiming You," published by Penguin in 2024. My approach blends psychodynamic psychotherapy, neuroscience, mindfulness, CBT, and somatic therapy into a style that's relatable, compassionate, and down to earth.
Introducing 1:1 Coaching Sessions
I'm excited to offer a new service: 1:1 coaching sessions that are distinct from my therapy work. These 60-minute sessions are designed to be focused and solution-oriented, applying the principles and techniques from my book, “Reclaiming You” to your personal context.
Key Features of the Coaching Sessions:
Duration: Each session lasts 60 minutes, laser-focused to address your specific needs.
Focus: We will address issues like stress, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, imposter syndrome, procrastination, or low self-esteem.
Techniques: These sessions are practical and action-oriented, equipping you with the techniques, insights and encouragement required to get ‘unstuck’ and create lifelong change.
Structure: Limited to a maximum of 3 sessions per person to ensure focus and clarity.
Differentiation from Therapy: Unlike traditional therapy, which often delves into past experiences and long-term emotional patterns, these coaching sessions are future-focused and designed for those who are ready to take actionable steps.

Initial Discussion: Begin with a conversation about your main issue or challenge.
Insight and Education: Receive friendly advice and valuable information tailored to your situation.
Holistic Support Package: Following the session, receive an email summary of the session along with a personalised ‘mind-body’ support pack containing action points and further recommendations.

About Me
I am a fully-qualified integrative therapist (MBACP) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Beyond my individual therapy and coaching work, I provide psycho-education through writing and speaking engagements in both corporate and public settings. My work encompasses a wide array of mental health topics, including anxiety, nervous system health, self-confidence, and relationship challenges. I have been praised for my accessible mental health advice and the moments of insight I help facilitate.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years in the media industry, gaining deep insight into the unique challenges faced in corporate and creative environments. Since transitioning to mental health, I have dedicated myself to helping people reclaim their authentic selves by healing trauma, disengaging from hustle culture, and moving towards mind-body alignment.
In 2024, my debut book, Reclaiming You, was published by Penguin and selected by Fearne Cotton to be part of the prestigious Happy Place Books class of 2024. My work has been featured in top publications like Stylist, Elle, Women's Health, and Psychologies. Additionally, I have shared my insights on platforms such as BBC Radio and popular podcasts like Dirty Mother Pukka and Dr. Alex’s Stompcast.
